Design Engineer / External Planner / Design Consultant



UK’s Leading Engineering Consultancy requires a Design Engineer / External Planner / Design Consultant with AutoCAD experience to take a leading role on major government technology schemes. Enjoying record / sustainable order books for the next three years my Client provides technology consultancy services to Local Authorities, Government and Private Sectors.



As a Design Engineer / External Planner / Design Consultant you will be responsible for a variety of activities such as technical support, leadership, producing drawings in with AutoCAD, report writing, client meetings, client negotiations, Design and network planning. As part of the technology team you will be working on (CCTV / Active Traffic Management / SCADA / Optical Networks / Telemetry / SDH / PDH / DWDM / Transmission/ Variable Message Signs).



The Ideal candidate will have come from a background in design within the Highways / Motorways Technology / Transmission / Telecommunications / Systems / Electrical / Electronic / Power and have experience working on technologies such as CCTV / MIDAS / SCADA / Telemetry / SDH / PDH / DWDM / Optical Networks.
